George Reed, Inc. started as a small driveway paving contractor and grew into a highly regarded heavy-civil infrastructure contractor serving the greater Northern California and Central Valley areas. By providing both quality construction materials and services, we've become a leader in the industry.
Over the years, we've evolved to specialize in large Federal and State highway rehabilitations and reconstructions. Our services include sitework grading, concrete work, and paving for a wide range of projects, from community developments to industrial warehouses and storage units. We also handle complete street reconstructions, addressing utility upgrades, downtown revitalizations, traffic calming, airport apron and taxiway reconstructions, and emergency response for levee stabilizations and landslide erosion.

Celebrating 80 years of success, George Reed, Inc. remains a Reed family-owned business, overseen by the parent company Reed Family Companies. Jeff Reed serves as CEO of Reed Family Companies, while Margaret Reed (Jeff Reed's wife) is President of GRI.
